Gregg Allman’s acclaimed concert, All My Friends: Celebrating The Songs And Voice Of Gregg Allman, in Atlanta, GA in 2014 served as the genesis for the academic arm of Gregg’s legacy. Funds raised from the concert went to create two scholarships for students working toward a career in music. Recognizing the importance of arts education, Gregg and his manager Michael Lehman, worked with the University of Georgia and Syracuse University to establish the scholarships.
